I'm surprised, nay shocked, that this list doesn't include eating ice-cream. Everyone should ice-cream. Nip along to DiRollo's or Luca's and have a double nougat. Works wonder.

Macy,
I don't know you. I found your blog via your comment on Isle Dance. My mother died of lung cancer August 1st, after only two months of knowing she was sick. Thank you for your honesty, and if there was a place to email you privately, I would have. Thank you for sharing your story. It helped a lot to read similar things I went through. Different-but similar.

Mme DeF - Putting FUN things on your to do list is CHEATING...tsk...
Rog, Kaz - yup, I am becoming an INVETERATE blogger. At this rate I'll be getting up in the middle of the night to keep blogging
Chris - So sorry to hear about your mother. Cancer is a SHIT illness that takes away your self respect and independence along with your life. It still makes me angry every time I think about it. You're on the same dark side I am right now I think. Hang on in there.
