Yes, yes weeks have gone by... Thousands of e-mails are unread* blogs unfollowed... but now finally THE BROADBAND IS WORKING.
I'll spare you the details , and god knows it could could all be temporary, what with me now working on the oldest computer in Cheesetown ... ( it's an old Mac, insert appropriate joke here...)...but THE BROADBAND IS WORKING.
And rumours that I have lately been seen hugging the dog and crying over a Belkin modem are only slightly exaggerated.....
Bear with me while I catch up with y'all now.
*And if anyone has any ideas how best to tackle an in box of 2986 unread e-mails just let me know, won't you?

Welcome back!!!!!
I've missed you.

Any time I get more than 1,000 unread emails in my inbox I find it best to tackle them by pretending that they're not there.

Glad to see you back! was beginning to worry there...perhaps you had decided to tweet instead of blog, and I don't do tweeting....glad order is restored!

Broadband? Isn't that the new all-women group I've been reading about?
20 March 2011 at 21:47
Oh, don't know what happened there.

Hurray, Macy is back! I was thinking you burned out after Burns.
2,986 e-mails. I haven't had that many in my whole life. I'd look for the lottery winner announcement and delete the other 2,985.

I'm with Charlie. Some things are just best done in batches. It's good to see you here, however long it lasts!

I was wondering if you'd eloped with George Clooney or something, like you'd been planning. Or was that a secret? Either that or you were part of that never ending contingent of people who always seem to be painting or maintaining the Forth Bridge. :)

Good news - I hope it lasts.
Mine just bounces me off from time to time. No warning - no apologies.

Mr Musgrove - I've got a history of that...
Libby - Nope, there's been not even a tweet out of me for weeks..
Nick - Tsk. As everyone kno the Cheesetown Womens' Group persists in calling itself the WRI
Charlie - I don't believe you're not swamped in mails, but I'll forward you a couple of hundred from Tesco Online and Dabs.com if you want..
Barb - As long as it lasts??? Now we're all going to direct positive thoughts to keep the broadband (and old Mac) working!
Sunny - Yay. Major catch ups!
MS Veg - HAS anyone seen the Cloonster lately? COULD he be currently wearing a pair of white overalls and painting the bridge?
Pat - Actually one day I might even get round to giving all the details about the s ad broadband loss. It did involvemoving my old pc and all its ancient bits
Rog - It might come to that, unless I can get Charlie to sift through February's for me..

Good to see you back bonnie lassie.
You must be popular to have that many emails--unless you get a lot of spam or the letters of demand are now electronic
22 March 2011 at 07:01
Clyde - Hi! Yep my reputation as an online shopper seems to have gone viral...
22 March 2011 at 08:46
